Ministries & Service

Mission Outreach
Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.  Amen.
Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Higher Calling Ministries is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation.
Brotherhood
This is an organization comprised of men who are connected to God, empowered by Christ, and guided by the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to equip, develop, and encourage men in becoming men of spiritual valor, obedient disciples, and kingdom builders, as a result of our proliferating relationship with Christ and other Christian brethren. Vision Statement: The National Brotherhood Ministries seeks to cultivate biblical masculinity through relationships of brotherly love and peer accountability, bible-based training, and Christian mentorship, resulting in Christ-like character, service, and leadership in our families, church, workplace, and community.
United Christian Women’s Ministries

Mission Statement: The United Christian Women’s Ministries encourages women of all ages to cultivate their relationship with Christ, and to provide services that will challenge, train, and equip its members and future generations for ministry, evangelism, and spiritual growth.
Sunday School & Holiness Youth Ministry
The mission of the National Sunday School and H.Y.M. Congress is to provide leadership training and Christian education; to equip teachers and students for ministry; to meet the holistic needs of the community.
Mission Outreach
We are committed to evangelism that is conducted with a compassionate vigor as we inspire and equip our members to be witnesses for Christ by seeking the lost and unchurched.
Music
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministries.
Ushers
The usher board at Higher Calling Ministries fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, collecting offerings, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of Higher Calling Ministries. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.
Children’s Ministry
In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible and to Glorify the Lord in working with our children in a way that they will love the Lord, Higher Calling Ministries has a nursery open every Sunday for ages 2 and under, as well as Wee Worship Too for ages 3-5, and Children’s Church for ages 6-10 in conjunction with morning worship service on 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, to object lessons in order to make the class interesting and show the children that we love and care for them.
